Join us for a series of events during the month of March to celebrate Women’s History Month and women’s contributions to the American nation and the world.
To celebrate Women’s History Month with us, we invite you to join us for a series of events to uncover the impact women are making to the development of science and business, culture and art, and many other spheres of our social, cultural and political life.
This week we virtually meet with Dr. Dani Smith, an Associate Research Professor at Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. Professor Smith teaches several courses in neuroscience ranging from introductory behavioral neuroscience to more advanced courses in models of neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases and disorders.
Being a successful neuroscientist at one of the leading research institutions in the US, Professor Smith will talk about being a female scientist, a scientist of color, about balancing family and career, and much more.
